East - Full Day

Departure from the hotel towards the areeiro peak, stop at the ecological park viewpoint for a view of Funchal.

That said, we continue on our way to the 2 highest points of the island, Pico do Areeiro with 1818 meters, where you can have a magnificent view of the mountains of the central area of the island.

Then we go down to Ribeiro Frio, where it is possible to make a 45-minute walk to the balcony viewpoint.

After the walk, we continue to Santana, where you can see the typical “Santana houses”, which are thatched houses.

We continue on our way to Porto da Cruz, where we will be able to observe the sugar cane spirit, where different regional products are sold.

To end our tour before returning to the hotel, we pass the easternmost tip of the island, more precisely Ponta de São Lourenço.
