Half Day - Pico do Arieiro and Curral das Freiras

Departure from the hotel towards the peak of Areeiro, stop at the Ecological Park viewpoint for a view of Funchal.

That said, we continue on our way to the 2 highest points of the island, Pico do Areeiro with 1818 meters, where you can have a magnificent view of the mountains of the central area of the island.

Then we head towards Eira do Serrado, where you can see a village located in the centre of the island, more precisely, Curral da Freiras.

At Curral das Freiras, normally we stop for the sightseeing and also to try some local cookies, local bread, local licours and sweets that they have just there, no doubts that's a great experience of some local flavours.

On the way back to Funchal, we still stop at the Pico dos Barcelos viewpoint, where you can catch a glimpse of the whole city in detail and take some more photos to remember later!
