Early departure towards Pico do Areeiro, more precisely 45 minutes before sunrise. The time is adjusted throughout the year.

Upon arrival at Pico do Areeiro, we looked for the best place to capture magnificent sunrise photos for later recall.
That said, we head towards Camacha, where we can have breakfast and visit the wicker museum, where some crafts are still being made.
After the visit, we head towards Cristo Rei, where we can visit a small sculpture, an imitation of “Cristo Redentor” in Brazil.
After this short visit, we head towards the snow viewpoint where you can have a wonderful view of Funchal.
Then we leave towards the starting point.
